Contest Information
Word count 1500-3500 (no less, but if you go up to 4K we won't toss it out--but please, send an inquiry first--and no more than 5K)
Write about this picture.....that's the only 'theme' we are enforcing. Your story must contain something about this picture.....and must adhere to our regular guidelines or it will not be considered.
Use the form below to enter: Include all information, or again, we can't use the story.....and thanks for entering.

We understand that some of you might have issues with the form, so please note that you can send your stories directly to us...but you MUST put CONTEST ENTRY in the subject line or you might be deleted unread.

The last issue is due out at the end of January 2012, and we will either use the picture we have here, or some original artwork from Kerry Maffeo (if she is able to help us again...keep your fingers crossed)
Due to personal reasons, we are suspending our magazine for a brief period of time....but will accept flash fiction if you have any.

You may send your contest entry directly to our email address
editorgvm at hotmail dot com
if you find that you have some issues with the form.
Please, if you have entered our contest before, you may send an inquiry to make sure we got your story...or resubmit by pasting it in the body of the email If you do this, make you that you take this opportunity to double check your story
(grammar, spelling, etc)
You may enter more than once, but only once per email.

Thanks for taking time to write us, and we look forward to reading your stories.
Just FYI, we don't start reading stories until the contest ends. We only notify the winning entries, which will be posted online in Jan. 2012

No stories under 1500 words, but we will accept slightly longer stories
than 3500 words. (we know that sometimes a few extra words make all the difference--but please, send an inquiry first)
